Hello again everybody, I haven't updated in some time, my last post was back in July at the air show. Some things have stopped me getting out to events recently. Anyway, autumn is here and I needed to get out and take some photos. So, I decided to go squirrel hunting (no.... just taking photos).

Squirrel snapping (4th November 2007)

I spent a day looking for these little furry friends and after a long hard look around I found the best place to be a local cemetery (kind of discovered by chance really). So the next day I set off to the shop and bought myself some nuts to entice the squirrels close enough to use my 70-300mm lense and get some good detail.

In Pictures - A squirrel at the local cemetry.

These creatures are great fun to watch. Full of energy and "bounciness". The best ones to try and photograph are the squirrels that live near urban areas. They seem to want to interact with humans a little more than their cousins that live in the woods.

It turned out to be a great day with some great light coming through the trees that set the scene for a beautiful autumn scene.

Photographs are here.
